There was an argument in the House of Lords yesterday about them having to declare their interests:This aint about Labour or Tory. The million man march against the Iraq war had far more labour supporters than tory. And plenty including me considered him and his cronies ****s for it.
And if you look at the voting records Tories and Labour voted for it in equal measure.
Skip forward seven years and you had the expenses claims scandal. Labour and Tories all at it. Nobody made it party political. I don't see why it should be now. This government is corrupt to the core.

I've no idea how anyone can think that it's proper to represent a foreign government in that position of power and not declare it. Ludicrous.
Lord Adonis (which sounds like a bad rapper pseudonym from the 80s) got it spot on with this, in my opinion:
“Any reasonable member of the public accepts… that the person who pays you is the person you are working for."
