This aint about Labour or Tory. The million man march against the Iraq war had far more labour supporters than tory. And plenty including me considered him and his cronies ****s for it.

And if you look at the voting records Tories and Labour voted for it in equal measure.

Skip forward seven years and you had the expenses claims scandal. Labour and Tories all at it. Nobody made it party political. I don't see why it should be now. This government is corrupt to the core.
There was an argument in the House of Lords yesterday about them having to declare their interests:

I've no idea how anyone can think that it's proper to represent a foreign government in that position of power and not declare it. Ludicrous.

Lord Adonis (which sounds like a bad rapper pseudonym from the 80s) got it spot on with this, in my opinion:
“Any reasonable member of the public accepts… that the person who pays you is the person you are working for."

Name and shame the ****s.

How they can oppose those regulations with the bullshit arguments in that article is nothing less than corruption.

It's fcking sad we have a situation where one of them can openly weigh up continuing in the HoL against receiving his clandestine earnings. As soon as he came out with that bollox, someone should've said, it's alright pal we'll make the decision for you now fck off out!!

Did you see the birds eye pictures of the mass funeral pyres burning? Horrendous.

Havent seen it, but it must be horrific.

I'm obviously none the wiser as to what specifically has gone on to cause such a massive outbreak, but I saw some articles stating they took their eye off the ball around early March and wanted some tourism cash.

I heard on the news the other day that in one day they reported 72 variants.

I also read that only a small fraction have been vaccinated. And Indians complaining that all the Oxford vaccine being made in India is going abroad and none of it's going to their own population. Surely they would've secured enough for themselves in the deal they made to manufacture it? 1 billion population, imagine vaccinating all of them.

Didn't it all kick offf again over some mass gathering, with a population of over one billion that's certainly going to be some death toll, if it's got out of control.

Yeah ****, Pakistani coworker mentioned that to me earlier in fact. Big religious gathering combined with lackadaisical border control perhaps.

I know Pakistan has a far worse outbreak than being reported, they've admitted to being unable to test the poorer areas adequately. Im sure the death toll across that continent is going to be terrible.

I think the world as a whole should be concerned what goes on in India, because if it's being allowed to mutate, it's eventually going to spread and we can't guarantee that current vaccinations will deal with it. I think there's still a sting in the tail with this virus, we are going to let our guard down and it will bite us bigtime for our complacency.

Every government is corrupt.

Some of the things people are getting worked up over is just plain silly. The text messages with Mr Dyson being the latest. Why anybody would have a problem with somebody being told they'll not be paying any extra tax if they help us with ventilators during a pandemic, beats me.
