Mrs went to the local shop in the next village earlier. She’s been going there throughout, and the social distancing rules have been impeccably adhered to, a max of 3 people in the shop, one way system, 1 person per aisle etc. She went this afternoon, no one gave a ****, people just waltzing in, ignoring the one way, brushing past people.

Lock down and social distancing is in the ****ing bin.

Just ppl being thick mate. They're ALL thick. Nah they're not reading any signals at all, none, naada, niet, nein, no sirreeeeeee!

It seems a lot of the population have decided the risk has gone and they can just crack on as normal again.

They can do as they wish for me, I’ll be making my own decisions, and they won’t be the same.

Spoke to my lad in Dubai earlier. Their lockdown is now reducing with some shops reopening etc. But social distancing is mandatory as is the wearing of face masks. Public beaches remain closed. At one point they had to have a police permit to go out, and there’s still a curfew in place.

258 in total have died in the UAE.

Interestingly they saw a spike in infections to 800 a day after relaxing the curfew post the end of Ramadan.
