Well if the UK Governments hadn't got involved in futile wars in Iraq an Afghanistan, the money would be there. God knows how much it costs to send troops, suppliers and equipment!!
Yep Ocado now email you when you can order (they give you all that day to order), so got email on Friday managed to get a delivery today. Got another email on Sunday and got another delivery coming on the 11th.
It is weird for me to get food this way as I am so used to getting food every 2-3 days, I actually have to plan it. The veg is a bit dodgy as it doesn't last obviously, so have to plan around that. Glad it is only the two of us, I feel for families. Scary how much wine I estimate I will drink in 11 days lol.
I have a 'coronavirus lockdown cupboard' now though with about 2 weeks of dry food that we can eat when deliveries stop.
I just had a moment when I thought what it come to that I have to have a 'stock' of food incase there is none. It makes me even more appreciative now as we still have a choice and won't starve, and there are so many across the world that have so much less - without a pandemic.
Let's hope that some good comes out of this and we all realise how lucky we really are and get back to appreciating what is really important like our loved ones and the world around us.
