All it takes is one player from us or them to have it, and this will be called off. I'd put it at 50/50 right now. Not trying to be neggy nelly.
I don't see how they can do that. What are the chances those three cases have stopped the spread? I'd be very surprised if this doesn't blow up over the next 18hours.
Allowing any game to go ahead is pure insanity, every player could have it by the end of the weekend!
That's pretty much what I said, only I condensed it a lot. But yeah, reading back, I can see where I was open to misinterpretation. I meant that we have to check our behaviour for several months, independent of any new vaccine. Hopefully, this time, the Covid-19 will die out soon because of the lack of new hosts who get over the illness and don't pass it along. If there is a next time, hopefully a new vaccine is ready and waiting to go. But having no vaccine is why we need good habits this time round, which is the important point I wanted to make. Our general good health in the modern world should not be taken for granted.
What we are now witnessing, is negligence. This cannot continue. We might well be putting people in dangerous positions just because of the contract obligations. This does not sit well with me. What if someone keels over? They are humans, not products.
As a player would you even want to play ? its bigger than a football match now. Potentially going home after and passing it onto their families etc is a real possibility .
Why not good habits at all times? Haven't we learned anything about personal and public hygene since the plague?
Unfortunately there ain't an alternative is there. Feel sorry for fans who had travel arrangements set up etc.
