The pubs and betting shops in the 70s and 80s were full of Irish and Jamaicans. In the early 80s when I lived in Stoke Newington, most of the pubs in the High Street had live bands on a Saturday night. Either diddly-diddly music or reggae, mostly.
Poor **** can't get over the fact that people aren't all white. Growing up in Stokey I never saw it as unusual that people looked different. So ****ing what?

In general, folk tend to look back at their childhood and early adulthood with rose tinted specs, hence you get my parents, especially my dad, Harrie, looking back adoringly at his childhood, living in inner city Glasgow, roof used to cave in every winter and a whole tenement block had 1 outside ****ter for anything up to 30 people. My memory of council houses is that they were **** and they only got better when folk bought them outright. The utopia you speak of only existed in you mind because you want to view it that way. You had full employment, massive taxation, industrial deaths in the thousands, slum housing, men working in mines breathing in all sorts of ****, *****s running riot shagging every ****, teachers battering **** out of pupils, every ****er was racist to some degree and we were all poorer than we are now (before CV19 reaction destroyed the country) Socialism breeds communism and the lessons of the 20th century tells us that it doesn’t end well.
The one article it's a white guy in the pic its somecunt stuck in by himself over Xmas Never change Beeb
There's an element of truth in that; life is all about perceptions, after all. However, having been born in suburban London in 1961, I doubt there's ever been a better time or place to be born, at any point in humanity's 60,000 years on the planet. Certainly not in approximately 3000 years of recorded history. Council houses for the most part weren't ****, despite the cheap materials and design flaws in the construction of many of them. Council estates got a bad reputation, often undeserved, and usually down to social problems caused by dumping large numbers of problem families on top of each other. As a solution to massive post war housing shortages caused by slum clearance and the Luftwaffe, they succeeded in their intended purpose. Flogging them off was all well and good, not allowing councils to replace the homes they were forced to sell was a Thatcherite crime against subsequent generations of working people. Socialism doesn't breed communism ffs, what does that even mean? If anything, it's capitalism that breeds communism, just as it breeds fascism, by failing huge swathes of the population and driving them towards extremism.
Oooh, my comment about you cutting and pasting comments that have been aimed at you must have hit home. Given I clearly find you an irrelevant bore that tries to hide behind childish personal 'abuse' as you know you're simply not up to any real conversation, your opinion has no credibility and little interest to me, so I can only assume you're either too thick to have realised that, or you're desperately fishing for a like from one of the two or three people that read your pap.
It's not obsessive, I never even noticed it before until someone on here mentioned it Its true though
Well you are not starving and are more likely to be over fed than the former, you probably stay in a heated house despite living in the northern hemisphere in winter, you have access to almost every piece of education ever recorded, walk about with an electronic device that allows you to take photos, videos, contact your family despite being up to several thousand miles away and allow you to access an award winning forum. As human history goes, you’ve got it pretty good. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You tell yourself things are **** then they will be.
