It’s a fact! The Dutch and Swedish govt said it, the UK govt said it before changing their mind. The WHO said it too and stated they changed their stance due to political pressure. You post the evidence that wearing a face covering stops or even restricts the spread of a virus and I’ll wear a face covering no bother. The bottom line is they don’t, and in mask Nazi Spain, they have an increase in Spain, in Luxembourg they have an increase in cases, in fact, everywhere they test, there’s an increase in cases despite most of Europe being muzzled. You want to help out and “do you bit”? Hold the Govt to account for wrecking the economy, ruining a generation of school kids and the millions of job losses whilst sending covid carriers into care homes and contributing to 45% of the deaths, cancelling 1.2m cancer screenings which will in itself result in potentially thousands of deaths all for a virus that was removed from their own HCID list in March meaning it is not as deadly as they have made out. Gosh, you really are a panic stricken, bed-wetting, nonce ****.
You would rather everyone not wear masks? Can you provide evidence that wearing a face covering causes or promotes Coronavirus? If the most harm it does is nothing I don't see why you object. It wasn't that long ago that you thought lockdown was pointless, we have been able to come out of lockdown by the introduction of wearing masks and allowing the economy to get back on its feet. If you wanted to sell a shed but your customer asked you to wear a mask just to be on the safe side would you comply and earn a chubby commission for yourself or tell the customer that they were mindless drones and could f.uck off to Ted's Sheds instead? If wearing masks is what it takes to get people out and about spending their cash I am perplexed as to why you so strongly object.
Don’t forget there’s still Brexit to come. Should coincide nicely with the impending collapse of the zombie firms the taxpayer has been propping up since March. There is evidence that wearing a face covering results in people touching their face, results in people not socially distancing which in turn results in increased infections. If masks were so effective, why have we not been instructed to wear them since day 1 and not 15 weeks in to a pandemic? Bottom line is this is a political decision and has no science behind it at all. You may like Govts telling you what to do, when you can work, when you can hug grandma, when you see friends, but I do not and neither do most people normally but when they have been fed massive scare stories then they are willing to lose their minds and adhere to authoritarian govt and all that entails. If you tolerate this, then your children will be next.
At first I was it’s just a flu, more infectious, but still a flu(march /april). then I panicked a wee bit when deaths started happening. Worried about my mum and daughter etc (April)...agreed that lockdown was sensible (April/may) realised you need to keep old folk and immunocompromised folk safe ... so they should shield (April onwards) then looked at data .. calmed down a lot . (May) When you look at the demographics. Realised lockdown was bad idea and social distancing measures , like Sweden , would probably been a better idea for economy etc (May/June) we should be back to pretty much normal with older folks and the immunocompromised still shielding as much as possible ...
They don’t have a massive death rate ... comparable to Scotland I think ... and it’s the same demographic , oldies etc
They do it when they have a cold etc to stop them coughing or sneezing on other folk . Probably more out of politeness ... they stop coughs/saliva etc from being transferred from one person to another

Eight deaths involving coronavirus were registered in Scotland from July 20 to July 26, a rise of two on the week before. The statistics from National Records of Scotland (NRS) count both confirmed and presumed Covid deaths. They include anyone who had coronavirus mentioned as a leading or contributory cause on their death certificate even if the diagnosis was never confirmed by a test. The latest fatalities in the week ending July 26 take the coronavirus death toll in Scotland to 4201. It comes even as separate daily Scottish Government figures show no deaths among confirmed Covid-19 patients for 12 days.
