Just got real for me. The brother of my friend had his ventilator switched off today. Confirmed COVID-19 after returning from Tenerife in late March. His companion is still in Hospital but not on a ventilator. The Hospital called ALL the family in the early hours of this morning so each could have a chance to say goodbye. The NHS staff held a phone to the ear of the brother so his family could say their words to him before his ventilator was turned off even though he was already essentially dead. Protect the NHS you ****s.
