Steps to privatisation of public services - massive underfunding resulting in crisis and then privatisation given as the only solution. The Tory dream for all public services. Also, the Health and Care Act 2022 packaged our NHS in England into 42 separate Integrated Care Systems/Boards each serving 2 to 3 million people making it even easier to sell on AND made even more attractive to Private Companies and Corporations because of its CHEAP LABOUR. Why else is this government refusing to give NHS staff a decent pay rise in the 6th wealthiest economy in the world? https://news.sky.com/story/minister...son-for-not-doing-a-deal-with-nurses-12792634 How anyone can vote Tory is beyond me... it is now surely becoming clear to all...the Tory grandplan for public services.... OUR services
I don't understand how anyone cannot see that the Tories have been planning to sell off the NHS for a number of years now - little steps at a time. It became obvious shortly after they won power in 2010, with their Health and Social Care Act. The Labour Party manifesto for the 2017 GE actually saw them promise to reverse privatisation of the NHS, and I don't remember the Tories ever denying that that was unnecessary. Presumably voters never bother to read all the information made available to them, unless it is written in simple words that they can understand.
I rememeber talking to an anti brexit campaigner and he said he really questioned the intellogence of people who voted for Brexit.... as we were clealry going to be much worste off as a country.... and the stats are showing that clealry now ....and if there was vote today we would not vore to leave as the data is so obvious. Similalry i think people vote for their parties for reasons not related to what they actually do... which is very sad really as people vote for a govt that is dismantling the service they actually need etc
Sunak finally takes his finger out and sacks Zahawi. https://news.sky.com/story/nadhim-zahawi-sacked-as-tory-chairman-over-tax-affairs-row-12793431
As far as Zahawi is concerned, the ethics adviser should have been consulted months ago... https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1616030741225246720.html
Typical bloody teachers. Just thinking of themselves, just as they always do 365 days a year, every year. “Me, me, me!”. Cut from the same cloth as those selfish bastard nurses. Screw schools. Screw the NHS. I think that’s the narrative.
Mrs Andy has just pointed out that the situation would be resolved immediately if teachers and nurses gave up all their nonsense and worked for no wage - if they do care as much for the good of the children, sick and infirm, as they claim. Fair point. Bastards. I mean, that might fund a large tax cut.
I love the bandying of this term ‘betrayal’. Isn’t the real betrayal by the people who put immediate personal financial gain ahead of their children’s future?
Absolutely...... Spouting the same stuff just like a broken record..... and a % of people will believe it..... But with so many strikes across the board i sense more people have sympathies for the strikers.... OR is it just hope on my part
I'm not a fan of the Labour party, but I can't help but admire Peter Stefanovic. The way he relentlessly attacks Sunak's lies must surely bear fruit soon.
I did think that when Johnson was removed, and the fruitloop Truss was taken out, maybe we would see less lying from the despatch box. It hasn't turned out that way though, with Sunak now taking on the role of chief storyteller. I wonder how many people that Peter Stefanovic's films are aimed at do see them?
