The official Jubilee Pudding - I wonder if MP Lee Anderson could whip one of these up without breaking his 30p per meal budget? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-61428970
The Bank of England is reporting that Brexit is costing the UK £444 million a week. Remember that red bus which said that Brexit would save the country £325 millions a week? They are talking about this continuing for the next 10-20 years. That is not sustainable.
Congratulations to Channel 4 News for putting the question. “You must be fuming with whoever signed this deal" Johnson: "Yes, I agreed it (NI protocol). I hoped and believed our friends (EU) would not necessarily want to apply it”
Not another one. Conservative MP arrested over rape and sexual assault allegations spanning seven-year period The individual remains in custody.
Not to mention abuse of position of trust and misconduct in a public office. All prerequisites for party membership.
One of the best coherent speeches given in the Commons from one of the youngest MPs. Freedoms that are taken for granted are one by one being taken away. Voting, protesting, tearing up international law can be seen slowly being carried out. These and many more things are not for the good of the population, but an attempt to retain power.
The boss of the UK's energy regulator has warned the energy price cap is set to rise to around £2,800 in October. Just in time for winter - lord only knows how the elderly and poor will survive this. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-61562657
Following the horror in Texas, worth remembering that, after the Dunblane Massacre, and the UK handgun ban, Boris Johnson wrote: “Nanny is confiscating their toys. It is like one of those vast Indian programmes of compulsory vasectomy.”
I wonder why Johnson has removed "integrity, objectivity, accountability, transparency, honesty and leadership in the public interest – must be honoured at all times; as must the political impartiality of our much admired civil service" from the ministerial code of conduct. Resignation is no longer thought to be the punishment for breaking the code, an apology or a few days without pay will be enough. Sounds like he is getting ready for a bad report from the privileges committee.
Am not a fan of YouGov and their polls - but this one I like. BoJo and 84 other Tory MPs tipped to lose their seats to Labour in 88 'key battleground' seats. https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politic...v-mrp-boris-johnson-set-lose-seat-labour-swee
