    The Bank of England is reporting that Brexit is costing the UK £444 million a week. Remember that red bus which said that Brexit would save the country £325 millions a week? They are talking about this continuing for the next 10-20 years. That is not sustainable.

    One of the best coherent speeches given in the Commons from one of the youngest MPs. Freedoms that are taken for granted are one by one being taken away. Voting, protesting, tearing up international law can be seen slowly being carried out. These and many more things are not for the good of the population, but an attempt to retain power.

    The boss of the UK's energy regulator has warned the energy price cap is set to rise to around £2,800 in October.

    Just in time for winter - lord only knows how the elderly and poor will survive this.

    I wonder why Johnson has removed "integrity, objectivity, accountability, transparency, honesty and leadership in the public interest – must be honoured at all times; as must the political impartiality of our much admired civil service" from the ministerial code of conduct. Resignation is no longer thought to be the punishment for breaking the code, an apology or a few days without pay will be enough. Sounds like he is getting ready for a bad report from the privileges committee.
