The House of Lords in action - or should that read inaction? They're both as bad as each other - the Labour Lord for thinking he's entitled to snooze during a debate, and the Tory Lady for thinking it's her job to tell him he can't take part in the debate.
Just come back from two supermarkets, and although it is no longer mandatory to wear masks, all of the staff did, and probably 95% + of customers. Sanitisers are still by the trolley parks and also the ones for your hands as you enter. Strangely enough the few who didn't have masks were ladies who I would guess are around 70 years old. The teenagers in the shops to buy their unhealthy lunch were 100% masked. It would have been interesting to ask why they didn't wish to have a "freedom" day.
We’ve finally succumbed. Positive test for me this morning, and Mrs Andy feeling rough now. Boys say they don’t feel great either.

You're not wrong. I simply do not understand why, in spite of all the revelations such as this, nothing gets done. Presumably the courts are in the government's pockets too? At least we here have a possible escape route - and are on the cusp of taking it. It's the decent people in England & Wales I feel & fear for.
