Why the assumption that he is panic-buying? He’s filled each can with different amounts and is channelling Roy Castle playing Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
Looks as though the Telegraph has started to question the way the government is taking the country. please log in to view this image
Presumably whoever drove that big red bus that was going to fund the NHS (apart from the big rise in NI), only has a PSV licence, so it’s not like they could step in and help.
Almost. I see they stopped short of saying "...mess of our own government's making' and blamed the rest of us.
Not if we lock him in an Aberdeen nightclub with an unlimited supply of white powder, young male dancers and music he can contort himself to. But then we'd likely end up with Truss - or even worse, Patel.
Patel and Sunak won't be put forwards, I'd say at least 50% of their voters would 'struggle' to vote for them. No idea why...
German TV is prepared to say things as they are. French and Italian TV have shown videos of people fighting at petrol stations. I hate to say it, but Johnson and his bunch of incompetents have turned the country into a laughing stock around the world.
please log in to view this image The last available figures for June this year show that 83% of HGV drivers entered the UK with an ID card. A further obstacle to filling the empty shelves? I have a secure ID card, with a chip in it that holds an image of my fingerprints. I would suggest that my ID card is more secure than my passport that doesn't have this image. My card holds similar information to other new cards issued throughout Europe, but I guess that the UK do not want to invest in the necessary card readers, or just be different.
It wouldn't surprise me if the government simply waive the passport rule for HGV drivers - they do seem to specialise in cutting corners. Meanwhile, it seems there is now a shortage of butchers for Xmas pork too - so more 'special' visas required, if they can entice any to come here. Maybe a few HGVs full of them - kill two birds with one stone? A bleak Xmas ahead it seems - pigs but no butchers to kill them, no turkeys - and if there were, no fuel to get to the supermarket to buy them and no power at home with which to cook them. To call it shambolic doesn't do it justice... https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...dustry-warns-of-christmas-shortages-6rl72gd2p
