This is a normal procedure in our democracy. Backbenchers are clearly addressing concerns of their constituents. Your nitpicking is strange behaviour.

Unfortunately the Hemel Hempstead Conservative Association AGM with guest speaker Jacob Rees-Mogg is off tonight.

    Sorry folks.

Just the sort of scheme that I was involved in when I lived in a village in England. There are a huge range of things, often very undemanding on our time or pocket that can make a big difference to the elderly or disabled. I did find that as the village expanded it became more difficult to get people to volunteer to help. It was becoming a place that people simply lived in overnight, and they said they didn't have any spare time.

Thankfully the UK has leaders and cabinet members with enormous experience having been in government for an awfully long time. Just think we could have had a couple of socialist clowns running the show. quelle horreur.

At a time like this nit picking political jibes have no place.
People are dying, we must all do our bit.
I am sure there are some great community support projects people can participate in rather than sit at home and post inflammatory items to create bad feeling.

Get on with it then.. How can you post about death and dying in such a way.. Beyond me at such a time.

I am actually at my psychotherapy clinic... Dealing with managing people very much at risk of self harm and suicide over the coming weeks, putting together safety plans, sorting telephone check ins, liaising with colleagues setting up services fir vulnerable adults and young people etc

There are a wealth of projects beings developed all over the Uk.. Very inspiring counterpoint to the depressing media coverage of people emptying supermarkets with panic buying...
If each one of us can do something to help another at this time...

People help in all sorts of ways without telling the world about it. There are several support groups actively working in my area and in Northamptonshire where my other two daughters live. There are a lot of good news stories about, they just don't make the headlines.

I have had mild symptoms for a couple of weeks, I am now at the recovery end stage which is considered not contagious. Thankfully no sign yet that other members of family are affected.

Yes, we have ingredients dropped off, my chilli will kill any virus.
