I think too many on here think it's a bit of a joke and they are untouchable. When, like me, you have had to watch someone very close to you taken away in an ambulance knowing the only time you will see them again is the hour before they die it puts a different view on it.
I don't know if you're including me but I want to answer you.
My heart goes out to anyone who loses a loved one. I certainly don't think it is a joke at all.
I remember sitting at my father's bed the night he died. He died of cancer, not Covid, but I don't wish that upon anyone.
Just because I'm asking questions about how the pandemic has been handled does not mean that I don't feel for anyone who has suffered loss.
I know it's tough to take but Covid is just one of the many ways we can leave this rock.
I hope that as time progresses the people responsible for creating this horrible virus are brought to account. Whether it was by accident or design this virus should never have happened.

We have all double glazed windows and 2 rock doors, full loft insulation and decided to have cavity wall done about 5 years ago and the cavity wall has done zilch to make any difference to the warmth compared to what it was before, I won't be installing an heat pump for Mrs Johnson's crusade......nice sirloin for tea Carrie, you stick to butternut roast
Heat pumps ain't gonna happen for anything but new builds. Be nice to give two fingers to the powergen biz and not worry about Putin switching off the gas but a complete re-piping of the house and much larger radiators everywhere before you even get to the pump - dream on.

Not aimed at anyone Blono, just an opinion.

Death is a part if life, we've all seen it
Nothings gonna change that, not even a super duper jab

You're right, but when someone goes from their normal self to unrecognisable in 6 days you realise how ruthless this virus is.
I take it they were sadly one of the 17371 poor souls who lost their lives to this disease and not the 150000 who had it
