Not just murder, but electing himself Judge, Jury & Executioner. The complete opposite of justice. So what about his colleagues, are they all deaf, so they couldn't hear the pleas? Were they blind that they couldn't see what was happening? And the bit that really gets me - why keep him prostrate on the ground for nearly 9 minutes. Aren't handcuffs enough these days? Sadly, most of these bad cops get off completely, keeping their jobs. If someone does get arrested & tried, they usually get the most unfair light sentences.

We get a lot of power crazy officials over here, Jonny. I started watching a few channels on Youtube, mostly dealing with unfair treatment for filming officials like police, PCSOs, Doormen, Bailiffs etc. You would be surprised how many people get arrested, manhandled, beaten up etc., purely for filming. Legally. I believe it's the same in the U.S. - if you can see it, you can legally film it, & that includes the public (including officials). There are a number of US equivalent channels, but I don't subscribe to them, so can't remember any names.

Have a look at this vid & getting this sort of nonsense every day. At least this guy walked away ....

I’ve seen some of the graffiti - Trafalgar Square and Winston Churchill’s statue.

Absolutely disgraceful. One can only hope a large number of these criminal vandals are identified, found and locked up, and pay up to clean up their mess!

Those videos demonstrate the real meaning of the phrase “white privilege.”

Those that don’t understand respond to it with things like “go tell that to poor white people!” No understanding of what the phrase actually means. SMH ‍♂️

Afraid you're an out of touch Aussie with no idea what's going on here. Lot's of European countries rely on British tourism, and if protesters don't cause a massive spike it will happen. No one's asking to go Aussie, not like your ever going to get rid of your spiders, snakes, Crocks and sharks is it <whistle>

I think you're right but as an "innocent" observer it looks a little odd that countries would be wanting to accept holiday makes from another country where there is a much higher incidence of coronavirus, but if the mighty pound carries so much value, so be it.

To put things another way, how long do you think you can lock down, no tourism before your ecconomy goes back to the stone age ? Most of the world seems to be allowing a slow spread, with a new way of living, Europe has slowed it right down now, but worldwide cases are still rising with many countries not even trying to stop it, don't think it going away for maybe years unless there's a vaccine.

Mineral exports are up and the spot price is increasing, we spend more going overseas than visitors spend here. We produce 7x as much food as we need and we are the lucky land and beat you at proper cricket quite regularly so we will do fine, thanks :emoticon-0103-cool:
