The weakness in leadership at the highest level in the USA and U.K. is startling yet not that surprising.

Will Dump be dumped in November? Even with this disaster I am not confident.

You may be stuck with yours for years to come.

    <sorry>

Having visited Costco (Leeds) 2 days ago it was apparent that shopping is probably the highest risk of exposure to the virus...for myself anyway.

Roughly 500 people instead of the usual 100 crammed into a store was not fun and I won't be visiting again anytime soon.

In addition as customers were limited to one purchase of items in short supply there really wasn't any point...you go to a wholesalers to buy in bulk not just one pack of water etc.

My local Costco was doing a very good job of limiting customers to how much each one could buy. Notably water, bleach and paper towels/toilet paper. I don’t see supermarkets doing that well in this area hence the empty shelves. Reminds of the Soviet Union from time to time.

Don't get me wrong...it's absolutely right to limit the purchases.

Just not worth the risk in my opinion as I can shop at my local store around 8am and there are only 10/15 people instead of 500.

That was the part that amused me...

At the check-out with some fruit and veg, milk, one pack of chicken etc and the cashier in a hushed tone asked " do you need some toilet rolls ? "

After I replied in the affirmative she produced a 12 pack from between her thighs...I kid you not :emoticon-0104-surpr

He is a very fit 29 year old and says he has never felt so ill in all his life
Just thought I would share that

Yes. Mind you my wife had flu a few years ago and said the same. The Italian doc is on a ventilator he’s so bad. Also in the US it’s not just young people who are dying, apparently.

Are you sure there aren't any countries or persons you wouldn't mind seeing wiped out?

There are plenty of both I sure wouldn't miss.

I see her Maj has spoken to the plebs with some encouraging words
"At times such as these, I am reminded that our nation's history has been forged by people and communities coming together to work as one, concentrating our combined efforts with a focus on the common goal.

"We are enormously thankful for the expertise and commitment of our scientists, medical practitioners and emergency and public services; but now more than any time in our recent past, we all have a vitally important part to play as individuals - today and in the coming days, weeks and months.
Then she and the Greek racist make a hasty retreat into isolation at the Sandringham bunker. No worries about ventilators and food supplies for her!

Most people that get this Flu, er sorry Pandemic get very mild to **** all symptoms. But SLY News and BBC won’t tell you that. In most cases it’s like seasonal Flu which sadly kills a load of old and people with underlying problems anyway . It’s the WHO and the ****ing media that have blown this way out of proportion. The Mass Hysteria is ****ing mind boggling . We are being subjected to a culture of fear. If nothing had been said about it, it would have passed like seasonal Flu and hardly anyone would have noticed.
This has set a precedent. Each year from now on we will only have to get a mention of Flu from the media and the whole ****ing fiasco will start all over again.

This great man was way ahead of his time. RIP Bill Hicks.
