New rules for us from sunday, pubs shut at 18-00 <wah>
Meanwhile over here my uncle got stopped by the police on his way to work yesterday. Wanted ID and had to give a letter for why he was out apparently. Load of nonsense.

On a more positive note I didn't hear anyone clapping for "heroes" last night. Maybe now it's dark they've less incentive to go out. Or maybe 10 months on they're a bit sick of it all. Either way nice to have a bit of peace.

Have we got any elites on this board,
If so, good news, you're immune from the batflu

I recon it's them starting the new strains to fook the worlds economies up while they prosper.
Or are the new strains the 'old' flu and cold strains that are around every year at this time and ferguson whitty and valance have put that in their computer modelling chesh?

We (Australia) are getting news reports that the NHS is being snowed under with virus cases and that hospitals are struggling to cope with the numbers. It was only a few days ago I read that the "Nightingale Hospitals" were not being used and were closing (?). What is the story from your aspect, fellas?

The Nightingales aren't being used because there are no staff to man them, the idea was each hospital would send so many nurses and doctors to run them but the vast majority of hospitals are under staffed as it is. This is a problem that NHS bosses said would happen before the Nightingales opened.

I'm sure it has been reported the last day or so that Nightingale London is ready to open it's doors when hospitals can't fit anymore covid patients in....which will be soon by the sound of it.

I'm from Skipton in the Yorkshire dales. We have had very few cases throughout only once touching the national average in April when alot of Londoners 'escaped' to the country and brought the virus with them.

Since the new variant was announced the town and surrounding villages have had an influx of people from London for the second time. Low and behold we are now one of the hotspots up here and most cases the new variant. ****ers.

Meanwhile at work we are obviously running behind schedule due to lock downs. We deal with companies all over the world. One thing we have in our contracts are penalties for late deliveries. We are about 8 weeks behind where we should be due to covid. Companies all over the world have not triggered the penalty clause due to us being late. They understand that we are doing the best we can. Only one country insist on the lateness penalties...... China! I mean the ****ing nerve of that country. ****ers.

Incredible cheek, eh? I did read that there have been cases of the 'English' variant of the strain now being found in China. Bit of come back there. Keep safe.
