It was like watching Don King this morning. The PM loves his fighting talk doesn't he ... ... I don't enjoy him claiming to have 'shielded the NHS' when so many staff have died. I can handle bad news and don't blame the government for everything ... ... buf, after 30,000 deaths, I'd rather not hear him talking about what a great 'success' this has been.
When we finally emerge from this crisis and compare how we have faired against other countries and what they did and when. When also we get to know what the conclusions are from various exercises and how much notice we took of them. Some judgements then can be made...hopefully we can rely on free press/investigative journalist and opposition MPs to do their jobs. For now we probably need to have a longer restrictive lockdown because of early failures. Lack of PPE and testing capabilities, not going into lockdown earlier, Cheltenham racing and Liverpool's championship game for example should not have happened, borders closed etc
What do you think of this :- A message from Jennifer Saunders Lets get this in perspective the crayon eaters who are set on pulling Boris down. Firstly THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT ORDER EQUIPMENT for the NHS, they supply the money. The lazy arse MANAGERS of the NHS are the procurement sources. It's not the government that deals with the logistics for the NHS, it's yes you've guessed it the NHS, more piss poor NHS management (government sorted that by giving them the Army). Two years ago there was a major exercise about the country being prepared for a possible pandemic, the government did NOT run that exercise, the NHS did, which they used their fantastic line "we can flex" so they were supposedly in a good place, add to that now Brexit with all the stockpiles that we had, they sat there and told the government we are ok. Did the MANAGERS then preempt the 4 weeks pipeline ordering (that's how long it takes a container ship to come from......CHINA).... oh how did we end up in that situation, well you stopped ordering from local sources, mistake all the eggs in one basket, who did that, not the government the NHS procurement. With the care homes now screaming out for PPE shouting at the government, oh wait the majority of care home are PRIVATE business's, 84% to be exact. It is not the responsibility of the government to order PPE for the private care homes, the others are COUNCIL led therefore which ever banner they are under it is down to them. There are all these people hiding behind the government when in reality it is those MANAGERS who have ****ed up. Not to worry though all our sterling journalists and crayon munching joe public who believe the tripe they publish, to bash the government, one because they didn't vote for Brexit and two because the toxic crayons have got to them. The real joe public know our media are ****e in almost every quarter and the muppets that chuck the stones from the sidelines, you know the ones that are armchair virologist/strategy professionals who could do oh so much better....NOT. The government has made mistakes, but not as many as the media would have you believe, instead of trying to pull this country together it seeks to divide, we don't need this at this crucial time, stop reading the gutter press, the armchair freaks STFU we need to get through this and your incessant squeaking is nothing but oxygen waste. Lets get through this and beat this, as it is not over yet, not by a long chalk. Jennifer Saunders A bit more random s hite for you. Crayon munchers
Who is she? The most damning newspaper report was The Times ... ... hardly the gutter press. I can surely be allowed, in a democratic country, to criticise my government. I've no wish to divide us all or bring anything down, that's the kind of senseless ranting you'd get from a dictatorship. I suppose this woman's idea of 'all pulling together' is attacking the NHS, idiot.
Probably isn't photoshopped; https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...riendship-with-margaret-thatcher-8432351.html
I once asked a Mag, on RTG, if he'd packed in shoving crayons up his sisters bum hole .... ... months ban iirc
The sheer arrogance of these millionaire so called celebrities is nauseating. When this is all over they will be on tv asking us plebs to "give till it hurts" on some telethon, without a hint of irony. Whilst at the same time they pay accountants to squirrel away their money into Cayman Islands bank accounts to deprive the chancellor of tax from the vast sums of money they received from BBC licence payers (which is a tax by any other name).
" the muppets that chuck the stones from the sidelines, you know the ones that are armchair virologist/strategy professionals who could do oh so much better....NOT. As she sits there telling the NHS management, care homes, the council, the press and everyone else exactly where they're going wrong
