Bonko I believe has had 3/4 weeks of a freebie holiday and at least 3 weeks off sick since he became PM. Gove, now admits that Bonko did not attend the early Cobra meetings about Coronvirus, too busy canoodling with his pregnant mistress. Still these Bullingdon buffons are bred to govern are they not? Result the country/nhs not prepared for epidemic, PPE stocks run down and to save money new stocks had to come from overseas, in a pandemic. No plan to ramp up testing...herd immunity God there has to be a reckoning for this shower, although like Trump they will literally get away with murder.
How long will this current Government/ PM last ? How long can they go on lying and bluffing the public? Hoping incompetent Johnson is put out to pasture, sooner rather than later, though Gove on the sidelines doesn't fill me with any confidence either! Maybe a coalition Gov Could be a way forward? It makes accountability of making major decisions more transparent? IMHO it would be more in the public safety, interest & well-being to have a well rounded broader voice, rather than Cummings and all the cabinet ****wits that have jeopardised us all.
The Spanish Government has extended Spain's lockdown till 9th May, but they are going to relax restrictions to allow children to play outdoors in the next few days. It's been 5 weeks so far and I'm running out of things to do to keep myself busy. I sort of broke the lockdown in a small way on Friday gone, I arranged with my daughter to go for our shopping at the same shop so I could at least talk to her face to face. I haven't seen her since early March so we agreed to meet up in Lidl, which sounds easy enough but we live in different provinces, she lives in Cadiz province and I am in Malaga province. Although we are only 13 miles apart I would have to cross from one region to the other and there are usually roadblocks checking the traffic at the border. Luckily for me the roadblock was on the eastern side of the road not on the westerly direction that I was heading in, so I drove to the Lidl in Sotogrande and parked underground. My daughter's car was there so I parked about 20 yards away and went and did my shopping. When I finished I went back down to the car and she was standing outside her car and we stood 20 yards apart and just talked and talked for about an hour. I couldn't recount what we talked about, we were just nattering away. We weren't the only ones in the carpark, there were others doing the same thing as we were. When it was time to go we just said bye, take care kind of stuff, no hug no peck on the cheek and we went our own way. I know that crossing the provincial border to go shopping is against rules of the lockdown, but when I got home I was happy that I'd done it. It was the best day I have had in a month even though some will say it was a selfish thing to do. Sorry for the rambling post and maybe I should have posted it in the 'Things that we took for granted' thread.
Gove just poured Scorn on media reports about the exit statergy Nice to see our great press telling the truth again
Lovely story mate, fortunately apart from my eldest daughter, my other 3 grown up kids are at home with us, it makes life easier knowing your family are safe, - as an aside maybe if you both lived in Blighty you could have just met up on Westminster Bridge and the authorities would not have batter an eyelid.
If you look at one of Piers Morgan interviews with Hancock he pulls him up about lack of PPE. There was a clip of Hancock stating on JANUARY 23rd how well prepared the Uk was. Nearly 3 f**king months ago and yet we are still hearing about lack of PPE. Boris "i am going to shake hands with people" Johnson catches the virus probably by his own fault gets all the sympathy and how brave he is and yet our people in the NHS still face a potential death sentence every working day. Thats what this country boils down to. Sorry people rant over
"Boris "i am going to shake hands with people" Johnson catches the virus. " Not really the best message for our Prime Minister to send out ... ... eerily like his equally pompous hero Donald 'I refuse to wear a mask' Trump. I was 100% behind the 'we're all in this together' sentiment but I'm feeling a little deflated this morning tbh. Calderwood, Hancock, House of Lords, football clubs, Victoria Beckham, etc, make me feel like someone, somewhere is taking the piss ... ... having people laughing in your face, when you can't take a swing, isn't a nice feeling.
If Johnson does go will it be leading up to the inevitable? Priti Patel becoming our Prime Minister and attempting to deport the coronavirus...
