So sorry mate you’ve honestly lost me are you answering a previous post or have I just lost the thread?
That's scandalous when some working people have fallen through the cracks in the government schemes and don't have enough money coming in to live on.
It's a real shame that there are some people who, despite the situation, can only think of themselves.
Was annoyed by a post by Cleveland Police yesterday. The Government is providing food parcels to people who are shielding and have no other way of getting food. Some scumbags are going around stealing the food parcels off people's doorsteps. No idea how anyone could stoop as low as that.
I've done a fair bit of work for the Salvation Army, over the years, and seen some real scum. I had a fair few 'words in my ear' for threatening people taking the mick, abusing the homeless or whatever. When you threaten to knock their teeth out they start reminding you you're supposed to be a Christian. I'd love to catch some of these doorstep thieves.
Tees just look at the "just for mr rawhite" thread I swear its keeping me going Edit mind I haven't cracked one off too it PS yet
https://archive.is/20200418182037/h...n-britain-sleepwalked-into-disaster-hq3b9tlgh This is a long read but it's going to dominate the news for a few days. Absolute negligence from our government.
At the beginning of this crisis I was quite impressed with the governments response, however I am now changing my view. The sheer lack of PPE for front line staff is a huge concern. As I have said in the past, my daughter is a nurse and i'm scared witless for her. I always assumed that companies had a "duty of care" for staff. I would have thought front line staff who are working directly with a lethal infection comes into that category. This has to be addressed immediately or the death numbers will go off the charts.
I've never been impressed with them It's been mixed messages from day one total utter incompetence Yet for some reason Boris is getting lauded mind mainly by the pathetic right wing press over his handling of the crisis The people he's chosen to handle this couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery boris has had to leave his sick bed to sort this mess out
Hope to god this time line is true I kna it's the Sun https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/11428725/secret-traffic-light-lockdown-masterplan/
Me too mate, I thought it all sounded organised and coordinated. Sadly I now think it was talking the talk more than walking the walk. In todays Sunday Times the government, and Prime Minister, are given a bit of a kicking. One of the most surprising things is that during 5 emergency Cobra meetings, in January and February when the problem was well known and affecting neighbouring countries, Johnson didn't show up for any of them. He certainly wasn't touring the flooded areas of the North, or in Europe negotiating trade deals ... ... so wtf was he doing as our Prime Minister.
Not sure if he was back from his free Caribbean holiday when this started but apparently afterwards Bojo spent the weekends away from government with his pregnant mistress and didn't like to be bothered by cabinet colleagues then.
I don't want to get into a witch hunt but it all strikes me as a little strange. For such a blatant media loving self publicist he's been virtually invisible. He's now at Chequers, having been given the all clear by the NHS, but apparently too weak to give a few minutes address to the nation. I think it's poor, I've seen lads discharge themselves from hospital to go to a match and straight back afterwards
