So all you, set up a GoFundMe page, get off your decrepit arses and start hobbling around the place to help save the NHS. “Together, we – by which I mean you – can save our health service from the lack of funds that successive Tory governments have been responsible for. “Just imagine that it’s like D-Day, but you’re on your zimmer frame and it’s Ian Duncan Smith who’s shooting at you.”
The real crying shame of this is the post is in all probability not too far away from the truth. It could be said we get the government we deserve. And that is what really hurts.
What a legend Captain Tom is. Imagine being nearly a hundred years old and being able to raise 20 mil for the NHS. I think his initial target was a grand and he probably thought that was fanciful, absolutely incredible story.

Maybe some f**ker that would of provided enough PPE/testing and not adopted a "herd immunity" i.e. f**k the old and vunerable they are gone anyway.

People should consider though that New Zealand has a popuplation of 4.8 million and they have 1400 odd cases and 11 deaths. That equates to 295 infections per million people and 2 deaths per million. They had 13 new cases yesterday. Australia has a population of 25.4 million with 6560 cases or 257 per million. Aus does however have 3 deaths per million as compared to NZ's 2. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ Both countries shut their borders fairly early and are benefiting from it. There was a thing floating around social media a few weeks ago saying that the every country has their dad looking after them whereas New Zealand has their mum who's a **** load more protective.
To be fair only one group of idiots are being paid a fortune. The messages, from the government, have been quite vague at times and thick people need clear guidance. People like Hancock haven't come across as decisive leaders and won't be looked back on with too much admiration imo.
