TBH I didn't even read the posts apart from the OP, and I just assumed it was about Cairney taking a man on.
Even when the ball ends up in the area no one gets a half decent head on it. For me we haven't been a threat from corners at all this season mainly down to the departure of Gerrard, in my opinion. Hobbs needs to step it up and assert some dominance in the area when corners come in, rather than just hanging onto the back of defenders, he should be forcing himself through them.
It would help Hobbs if 95% of the corners didn`t fall short, perhaps give the lads a chance at heading it rather then watching the near post clearance all the time.
