I actually thought we showed a lot more today but Liverpool were a very good team and playing at home. Last penalty a joke. Had the VAR team nodded off?
Tino had a mare, Longstaff too. Gordon obviously not 100%.

We should ask for special dispensation - when it goes out for a corner, just let the opposition have a goal kick. It’s less threatening than the usual counter attack we have to face every time.

It is really bad like, when was the last time we scored one that Trippier took, Sheff Utd away i'm guessing.

It's piss poor.

It's reminding me of the Pardew days ffs, that flat ball to Williamson that always came to nothing.

This side has no significant strengths

I agree, other than shot stopping with Pope, great balls pinged out to the wings by Bruno, Electric pace when Gordon plays on the left, sublime finishing when either of our 2 strikers are fit and playing in the forward position, unbelievable strength in the centre of park with Joelinton, cool and calm passes forward when Tonali plays <whistle>

Yeah but what have the Romans ever done for us?

Not seeing anything this season so far .... this all sounds fanciful at the moment. Pope can't play out from the back, there's barely any pace in defence and midfield, there's no striker to stick the ball to, they don't score from corners, goals from free kicks don't materialise. They aren't countering and they aren't opening sides up with effective possession.

Perhaps with Botman and isak that will all change, but I personally don't think it will.. it's not even a major criticism.. I just don't think Howe has the players to do any better this season.

I've accepted the situation.
