cardiff bought him for about 75 million danish kroner. it's about 8,5 million pound off a reply from facebook ,hes worth 8mill now with a potential of 20 mill off sky
shows how the media havent a clue about who we're signing, which is how it should be personally this seems a huge amount of money to spend on one player from the danish league, yes we've got big ambitions and money but the lad needs to score 10-15 PL goals at least to justify this fee..

Having read the write ups on this guy and given he's only had one season in the Danish top flight I can't help thinking this is an expensive risk.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^This does worry me too. Very inexperienced even at Danish top league level which probably sub-Championship apart from a couple of clubs - a bit like the SPL. However, if what we've heard and seen in the vid clips is anything to go by, the same sort of prospect from the Bundesliga or Serie A would have cost at least as much. Also. I doubt the headline transfer figure is all upfront anyway - he may have to earn it for Copenhagen over a couple of seasons.
The Eggo says we have been watching him for 9 months and Malky has built a significant dossier on him. As we know Malky doesn't do anything without thorough research.
Look Taff - I understand your concern, but if you're looking for the San Andreas fault, it's in California not Copenhagen........... (at least I hope so )
What position does Saint Andreas play? D'yall thunk we'd git him for less'un 20 bucks? Mind you Corny does look stronger and bigger than Velonijka so I will hush my mouth and hopemhe does the business for us.
i was a bit concerned when the danish clubs chairman said that when you get such a huge offer you have no option but to accept..... we have paid top dollar for this guy but even though he's young he's got to deliver, we arent a man city who can afford to say it didnt work out...........
Any non established Premier league signing is a risk - you can only do some sound reasearch and hope he comes off. There is always the risk that a player picks up a serious injury in game 1 and then it all goes out of the window! If he does score goals then you are quids in as proven premier league goal scorers go for silly money else its a lot of Kroner gone north. Only time will tell.
A lot of Doubting Thomas' on here. Is there a lack of faith in Malky's judgement and who's to say Velikonja won't come good given the right system for his style and the right service? With the forwards we have at our disposal I see us having not only Plan A & B but C & D also.
Doubting Thomas on here!! - do you know something we don't? I thought we'd agreed a fee with Blackpool.
