    Exactly and with a nice set up for the 2nd goal.

    Of all the clubs that have shown interest, we (along with Forest) have the best chance of going up in the next two years. Can't see Burnley or Blackpool doing it again any time soon. Cork knows this.

    If true would be a great signing and if the price of 750k is correct than like Chaplow we have got another bargain.

    said couple of days ago i doubt this will happen due to the time it has taken - if confirmed on OS i will gladly eat humble pie (dont have humble pie so il find a cherry one instead :) )

    if he does though it will make me wonder what on earth has taken so long?

    agreed - they may have spouted mainly tosh about AOC but them and the beeb usually tend to get things right.

    Think it's simply a case of Cork having a break after the U21 tournament, plus Chelsea not officially returning to training until this Monday. So I expect the new Chelsea manager wanted to at least speak to Cork about his future face to face before moving the transfer on to allow him to then talk to Saints.

    I was impressed with him when he was first here on loan a few years back, he's only improved since, so this should be a good signing for us - Cork and Spiderman new midfield pairing?

    Would be brilliant if this came off, good creative midfielder who can develop even further with us, would be ideal. Midfield of:
    Chambo Cork Spiderman Lallana
    That would be easily sufficient in the championship i would think and still with Hammond, Chaplow and Holmes on the bench
    Fingers crossed.
