I really hope Wenger breaks his 4th place tradition and just bloody goes for it. I mean, he isn't getting any younger!
Some thoughts from the Guardian on why we get so many injuries http://www.theguardian.com/football...-injuries-theory-arsene-wenger-alexis-sanchez
Worth picking out this piece from the link... "It is worth keeping some perspective. Before Sunday’s triple-whammy Arsenal were joint seventh in the Premier League injury table. Since the start of the season, according to the excellent website physioroom.com, they have had 23 injuries of all types so far. In the same period Manchester City have had 35, Manchester United 30, Liverpool 24, Tottenham Hotspur 20 and Chelsea 18."
Me too if I'm honest Predictably, the truth won't stop some from continuing to claim that we are the worst in the PL though.
He's done the job, there were a few moments today when he didn't stay on his man as he should as a DMF when City were going for it near the end. He's gotta keep it up, it's imperative we keep him fit, because with all respect to Arteta, I have no confidence that he will be able to do the job.
He's actually done well for himself. Still don't trust him because he's Flamini but he's put in good shifts and today he helped negate Silva.
He is doing well, but the thing that has helped him is the fact that Ramsey has moved back into the middle, both have plenty of energy and they cover so much ground, Cazorla and Flamini for example would not have worked as well as Ramsey and Flamini.
We can't afford to lose Ramsey or Flamini right now....We've said that about a few players and we know how that turned out....The problem is we are very light in midfield that Ramsey and Flamini are going to have to play a lot, and both are injury prone players, so that's not good.
He's fared better than I thought, fair play to him . Still don't think we can rely on him to keep fit until March and that we should bring in an extra body in January (on loan if needs be).
He has done very well tbf and better than expected. I pray he can cone through the busy xmas period unscathed. But doesn't change my opinion that we need reinforcements in that position asap, as any injury/drop in form to him an we are screwed. We need proper competition to coq as well
I remember that season in 2006 when he played LB and dominated the position. We got to the CL final that season too.
He's a strange player seems to go through patches where he is really excellent. Today he was top notch as he was against Olympiacos. Ramsey is also putting in a good shift. The Welshmans workrate is incredible.
Flamini is doing great. Have to say though, I think the team have kicked in to gear knowing EVERYONE has to defend together. With the team playing with this mentality we will actually benefit from Flamini's pointing and gesturing.
I agree that we need cover but I am pleased that he has settled down a bit now he has a definite role to play.He did a magnificent job on Silva. I have only just heard that he has never lost a match at home, but will not be signing a new contract at the end of the season.
