Good opportunity now though for Nagbe to step in (no Jones or Bedoya means Nagbe pretty much has to play, right?). Not sure what we're going to do for Wood up top, although considering how Besler played at left back, I wouldn't be shocked to see him stay there and Fabian Johnson move higher up the field. That would be a fun look and would really signal the USA going for the win. USA was really controlling the match in all facets before the cards came flying, so I'm actually cautiously optimistic they can do the same to Argentina, albeit on a lesser scale... they had more of the ball in all their games so far when it was 11v11, including the Colombia match. Selling my tickets to Chile vs. Mexico tomorrow, hopefully convincing the wife to use the money to fly to Houston for the semifinal on Tuesday!
I agree it has to be Nagbe coming in for Jones. Johnson will move back to the left with Yedlin taking the right side since he is back from suspension. I think Zusi will come in to replace Bedoya. My guess is that Wondo will come in to replace Wood. If Wondo doesnt come in to replace Wood we will have to change the formation since Wood, Dempsey and Zardes have all been starting. I could see us changing the formation and trying to play a defensive game and hit them on the counter attack.
No surprise that Argentina won so we will be playing them in the Semi-Final on Tuesday if anyone wants to watch.

Yeah, Mexico folded like a cheap suit. Can't stand Mexico - and they thought this tournament was theirs. Good riddance.
Yea, and we have 3 of our starters who are not eligible to play. I will be going into it hoping we can pull it off but I cant see it happening. I would take a loss by 1 point and a strong effort every day of the week against them.
Well if you do get to watch with 3 starters out you might see some of our young players I have talked about. Look for Nagbe who I think will start and Pulisic to come off the bench.
