From some angles it looked like it went in off his hip so I can understand their decision.
Oooo, good question.. I also really dislike Spain for the exact same reasons as Brazil. So in an ideal world I'd like them to be in the same World Cup group and each of them need a win to go through, but instead they draw and both get knocked out. And of course I enjoy seeing the Jocks lose.
That's about it.
I don't like Spain either, but they do play some great football at times.
Hoping the Czechs upset them later today.
Nice to see Portugal lose too - just to see that arrogant **** Ronaldo upset. ****ing ****er.
I enjoy watching Portugal lose, out of all the European teams I consider them to have more cheats than any other team, added to consecutive screwing of us at tournaments in the 2000s, plus seeing Ronaldo crying always a nice little bonus!
watching Scotland lose is hilarious, in some ways it's a shame that they no longer get to tournaments as it's even funnier watching them lose 3-0 to Morocco then it is watching them fail to qualify for a tournament where almost half of europe qualify.
I like to see the following to lose always: Spain, Italy, England, Germany and France.
There were a couple players in the way of the refs so I understand why they called it a goal.
Only one quarterfinal spot remains undecided, and I hope Panama defeats Chile tomorrow to add a third CONCACAF team to the mix.
If Panama beats Chile I would be ridiculously surprised. Also we're going to win the whole thing.
Hernandez starts for Uruguay.
They should have started him in the beginning rather than after they are already out of the tournament.
Hernandez with a great goal to take Uruguay to 1-0 and he almost just got a second goal. He has looked Uruguays best striker of the tournament.
The goal if anyone hasn't seen:
He should have started both the other games. I really dont understand what their coach was thinking starting Rolan. Rolan was freaking terrible.
Hernandez missed an easy goal but his deflection went off the defender and went in for an OG. 2-0 Uruguay.
My friend put $5 on Hernandez next goal scorer and lost his **** when he saw the replay.
He had a good game even though he probably should have had a hat trick.
Great to hear though, hopefully raises his place in the coach's estimations.
Abel was the best player on the pitch by a mile. And Cavani is a useless donkey. Although to be far I'm pretty sure an ass would have knocked in a few of the chances he has gotten so far in this competition
