Wondo I expected Beckerman I didnt. Im guessing they picked Beckerman since he is a vet and probably better on the defensive side. Wondo is decent about coming back and playing defense so this probably means we are going to be parking the bus and trying to hit them on the counter.

Will be hard to counter with both of our best athletes playing outside back!

Dempsey will score a goal though (again, always in big games) so we got at least one to start.

Well that sucked. USA looks to have some jitters early on.

Beckerman over the first 10 minutes would be more useful if he were an actual cone than whatever he is doing. He's been caught out of position and lost the ball every time.

I know we are being outclassed here but why the **** does Argentina keep rolling around like they just stepped on a land mine. You are beating us 2-0 and we dont have one shot on goal stop acting like you are in pain and trying to get people sent off.

Lavezzi just broke his arm really nasty. It looks like his elbow is in the wrong place... don't like seeing that even if he is killing us tonight.

Yea that was nasty. At least it wasnt in a tackle. I would hate to have someone injured like that in a 4-0 game and have caused it be in a tackle. Hopefully its not as bad as it looked.

Disappointing game overall, but Argentina was lights out. Not much we could do. I think Guzan would like both the first two goals back but probably wouldn't have mattered in the end. Good run for the USA and hope they can win the 3rd place game!

Thinking we'll see Nagbe, Pulisic, and maybe a few other youngsters such as Kitchen or Birnbaum. Should be fun.

I wish there was some way Hull City could get Brooks or Nagbe, think they have bright futures but I doubt Nagbe will ever leave the USA and Brooks is on lock down at Berlin.

On a completely unrelated note, I have Quakes tickets vs. LA at Stanford on Saturday. Think I'll wear my Hull City Altidore kit from 09-10 and confuse everyone, just for fun!

Messi became Argentina's all time top goal scorer last night.

I watched the first half, but it is on way too late here. Had to turn it off.

Messi showing Ronaldo a thing or two in this tournament...

What a bellend. Both of them. The reporter (for shoving the mic right in his gob) and Ronaldo (for acting like a ****ing 5 year old. Again.)

A disappointing match but not unexpected. I don't think either Chile nor Columbia will stop Argentina. I'd like for the USA to have another shot at Columbia in the 3rd place match.

I would love for the USA to play Chile and not lose 7-0!

3rd place match today... will anyone not in the US watch or care??

I think Klinsy starts his best lineup with maybe a youngster or two sprinkled in and the US kills it while Colombia plays as if they're already on the beach

Im not sure I am going to watch it. I dislike the idea of 3rd place matches.
