It's worse than that. To actually make a difference, not only does he have to stop drinking today, he somehow has to find a way of undrinking everything he's drank since he started drinking.

Ah, but don't forget, he was probably smoking heavily back then, and the particles from the smoke were quite liable to have helped by contributing to global cooling until they banned it, so it'll have to be a balance of the risk to health from that and the drinking.

It's the problem when the 'issues' get compartmentalised and over simplified by administrators, rather than really following the actual science. .:emoticon-0105-wink:

So now with just a few days left it looks like the target is not going to be met. The target of global warming kept to 1.5c by the end of the century, it looks like there will be 2.5c if more commitments are not made. So what to do? the big guns are heading back to Glasgow to get some more countries to pledge to get to carbon neutral by some time in the future. May even go to extra time.

Not often do I agree with Greta but it's just bla bla bla

Had a wry laugh at the news this morning.
Item 1, US and China in historic climate deal.
Item 2, Britain sends an Airbus A350 to Jamaica on a deportation flight with 4 people on board.

Did they have to fly the plane themselves?
