Phil was spot onAn interesting article from the Planet Swans website - written by Phil Sumbler former chairman of the Swans Trust:

Perhaps Cooper wanted the final year of his contract paid up in full and it’s taken until now to resolve things: the Swans would need to have lined up his replacement, know his salary costs, which back room staff he could bring and what (cheap/free/loan) players he would want: then try and balance the books to see the most we could/would pay CooperFor the life of me I can't understand why this has taken so long to resolve. If it had been Daniel Levy then Cooper would have gone in early June or earlier!
Eddie Howe and Frank Lampard. Not a surprise. Who's favourite to come in guys?
Agree wholeheartedly! That said, will the Yanks put their hands in their pockets …I just hope it is someone with at least a bit of experience and not just the cheap option.
Eddie Howe and Frank Lampard.
Colin W*nker must be on the long list ….![]()
The trouble is Blue that both would command high salaries and decent transfer funds - can’t see the Yanks agreeing to invest large sums to support such a strategy.Either of the first two would be a good shout. Both must be looking to restart their careers, outside of punditry, after a few months out.
