Got to say thought coops played well yesterday thought the whole team wanted it more then boro and got the win
I think Coops needs the game time he is now getting to build confidence and improve his own game. Also he has not had the advantage of a settled defence that would have been wished for.
Thought Coops did okay, and it was Chessie who looked a bit unsure at times, which is unusual for him.
Thought Chester & Cooper were good overall and I would be surprised if Nick doesn't select Cooper at the start of next season
He needs a run of games more than anything. This is a rare chance he has to take. But Chester and Hobbs on their day are arguably the best pairing in this division. The stats reflect this if nothing else. We need to hope he comes on big style now, becasue we have a fine first choice pairing, but are lacking in cover - unless Coops can develope his game in this spell in the first team. I doubt Barmby will loan Cooper out next year unless he brings in more defenders in the summer, so he must step up to the old plate right now. He might not get a better chance at City than this one.
