I'll tell you why , Laudrup was slowly set up for his sacking starting with the firing of his agent . No chairman should throw spike belts under a manager early in the season after the success , players and good name he brought our club . Jenkins picked the perfect time to sack Laudrup too , just when players were coming back with premier league games easing a bit .If Monk fails , it's still Laudrup's fault , if Gary succeeds well all hail Huw . 3 wins in our last 6 games means we were coming back . ? That 1 win in10 games was against mostly top teams while we were infested with injury . You run around here thinking you were right and all I see is someone as foolish as Huw .
Bang on Breezy. Laudrup's been set up BIG TIME. Lose to Cardiff and/or get relegated, it's all down to Laudrup. Avoid either/both, it's all hail Jenkins and Monk the saviours. What a farce.
Really struggling to come to grips with whats happened ivor . Who could imagine Laudrup not being able to finish this season , no more Europa that he got us into while turning down big clubs advances . Unable to even say goodbye to players , fans and staff . Jenkins is classless and responsible for a lot of ill will and seperation of fans at what should have been a season for the ages .
For all those that think players will leave, you seem to forget that we will get replacements. This is the same old nonsense that fans have been repeating for years. Some players will leave and some will arrive. Same at all clubs. Nothing new.
I don't think he turned down anyone. Probably just talk so that Huw gave him a better contract. No need to struggle. One manager gone, another arrived. Same same. You must have a tough life if you struggle over things like this.
