    Er actually Brian, he hasn't.

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11695/9150500/

That usually means he'll come back to his parent club for treatment & rehab.

Also, any player offered a new contract for less money gives them freedom of contract & can move on for nowt.
Bearing in mind Bardsley has been immense this season & he's still only 27 that would be a real shame IMHO.

I know, I broke that news to the board yesterday fella.

He's in the last 6 months of his contract and went out 'on loan' till the end of the season. That equates to them buying out the last 6 months as his loan fee is pretty much a transfer fee. To send him back they would have to pay which would cost more than to treat him. He's gone mate in all but technicalities. I might be wrong but I'm sure I'm not <laugh>:p

Vaughan can talk who ever he wants now for next season and can even sign a pre contract agreement. Forest have basicly bought him on a six month contract.

Good luck to Vaughan, always liked him a bit due to his terrific left foot.

I know because that's Vaughan's choice when he wants to talk to clubs about where he's playing next season. Why would he sign a pre contract for next season with forest now when there was a chance Forest won't get promoted? If he still had premiership aspirations it's only natural he'll put off his footballing future until the Summer. He's no choice but to wait now of course because he's injured.

You do know any player over 21 can start talking to any club and sign a pre contract while in the last 6 months of his contract don't you? For example Gardner can sign a pre agreement for West Brom tomorrow if the offer was there. Would join them until July 1st though. Don't know what the rules are for Colback though as he's still in his first professional contract.

Ji has just signed a pre contract with Dortmund despite Signing for Augsberg 'on loan' from Sunderland for the final 6 months of his Sunderland contract.
