On what grounds would they sack him? In any walk of working life there is a disciplinary procedure to be followed. It's actually very difficult to sack someone unless it's for gross misconduct & whilst I'm not privy as to what's in his contract I very much doubt that laying on a casino floor amounts to that even if it was ridiculously stupid.
The comment on instagram maybe? Don't think we'll sack him anyway he'll just stay here for the duration of his contract. Maybe go on loan somewhere
Quite possibly mate but they'd have difficulty in proving conclusively that it was actually him that made the comment & not his wife/kids/father/brother etc. The PFA would have a field day with it mate. I'm really sorry that it's come to this because I always loved Bardo for his sheer commitment.
I know mate. There's a disciplinary process usually you'd get a verbal warning, then written warnings prior to a sacking. I imagine his drinking/petulance probably got him his warnings. If they can't prove it was him fair enough. I just hope he wouldn't do anything as stupid as laugh at us in public and then blame his child.
