The problem with that is disciple re: positioning. Leon, and now Joey, are adept at sitting very deep and epitomising the role, whereas every time I've seen Kemy he likes to charge around a bit and I think we lose our shape a bit. I do like him as a player, and I hope he proves me wrong as he's got some serious technical ability.

Bodde will never return to the club when his contract expires, i was told the word being used around him is "good ridence" or words to that effect! i have also been told he has apparently been missing specialist appointments RE his rehab/new knee injury .

Bye bye Ferrie ! the club have moved on, it was a pipe dream to beleive he would ever return to 1st team action anyway and the rublings about him have been going on for ages, best thing for all concerned will be when he is finally consigned to History <ok>

Im glad Kemy has been given a fresh deal, seems he has finally knuckled down and shown how good he can be, notable that Brenden had him down as a first choice pick this season so really happy that its working out for him here, we need a player like him to share the midfield workload :)

I think his missing specialist appointments, regarding his new knee injury, just reflects the approach he had on the original too, he's milked the situation at the club over the years, we should have made him go to the states for his original treatment, and not allowed his petulance to hold sway, but all water under the bridge now!............... <ok>

At this point there's no upside for us on Bodde. At his current age he should be peaking but he's spent the key growth years rehabilitating. Even if he get's back to playable condition he's not going to challenge our squad for a place .... if he does then we've really failed on the player recruitment / development side. Time I think to release him, or at least give him an absolutely minimal contract, one just sufficient to cover any medical expenses and of sufficient length to cover reasonable rehabilitation time with a clear time cut-off. We gone through multiple rounds of this and I think we've given him a fair crack of the whip.

He's finished as a player, its that simple. We can't waste time thinking he will be back as its a distant reality, if what is being said above is true we are well rid of him in any role at our club. What kind of role model will he be if that is his attitude. I do wish him success on whatever he does next though, he is obviously still quite young in other professions.

good post valley ..<ok> August i think can be a good player if he can stay injury free, he has showed signs of capabilities when he has played but when a player has a history of breaking down then these players should only get performance contracts and not long term contracts like we did with Bodde. we burnt our fingers with him and even though he ended up on a play and get paid contract in the end he was still picking up a decent basic wage....
