Contract offers have been given to blooms, wood, craig, doc, fletcher, horlock, lewis, morias and Stewart

Jo Kuffour, Dean Morgan, Lee Angol, Jesse Kewley-Graham, Anthony Jeffrey, JPP and Matt Spring have all been released as expected, but the one that surprises me is the Leon Johnson has been released after 7 years at the club! Real pity to lose leon, hes been a great player down the years yet somehow never a first choice centre back

Who is Fletcher?

tommy fletcher - young centre back signed at the start of the season. He was always one for the future, not for now so with that in mind why he was only given a year im not too sure! With leon gone and stewart probably getting snapped up by someone else i suspect we will see him at some point this season

Cheers Jose.

I've just realised that in your post above you mention contracts have been offered, as opposed to agreed. So we could end up with not many of those.

indeed ron, which is always the risk! Going purely on gut feeling here, this is what I think will happen

Fletcher, Horlock, Lewis and Morias will sign because they haven't got anything else!

Bloomfield will sign because hes bloomfield!

Craig will wait a bit for other offers, find theres nothing then sign

Stewart will go, and probably already has a list of clubs talking to him

Sam Wood is the one im honestly unsure on - he is a brilliant player and clearly has passion, but I think he might have got annoyed at being played left back, having to travel 90 minutes to and from training each day and add to that he is a good player as well and he may get a good offer... I wouldn't begrudge him a move, but id love him to stay as he really is one of the most popular players at the club, and rightly so!

Looks like Rocky and I will be playing next season then after all. Better get some modern boots

Looks like we are going to be in a similar position to Bury next season. A team of freebies that haven't played together before (bar perhaps a handful)
You couldn't blame Sam Wood and Stewart if they pursue other options as thy have been a couple of the small positives from last year and would fit in quite easily at one of the more ambitious teams or even a division higher.
Lets hope Guywanderer is still buying his euro millions tickets as that is looking like our saviour at present!!

You can always join our proposed horse racing syndicate to have a crack at that £7.5million this Saturday.
