Just don't look at the ticket prices for the friendly against Juventus... Handled by an outside company, but that's really no excuse.
Think some away fans will get in home end on General Sale tickets like West Ham at Olympic Stadium. Agree though, with 90k capacity, should give away fans more tix. Be interesting if Sours play West Ham, Chelsea or Arsenal in Cup and have to give 12k tix to away fans (maybe police will stop it)
Just thought you'd give more as you clearly don't have 87,000 regular supporters. Would have been good practice security wise incase you get a West Ham/Arsenal/Chelsea in the FA Cup too.
We'll see how many tickets we can actually sell to the regular fans when they go on sale. I doubt we'll sell out for every game, but it's a useful test for the new stadium.
Are Spurs getting 87k tickets per home game next season? That'll be interesting. How many did they have in the CL last season?
They can use the full capacity yeah which is why I thought they'd give a 5-8k away allocation rather than just 3.
I reckon you'll sell out most games but will be 10k+ tourist/neutrals/day trippers Be interesting to see how you price it if you get say a Carlisle at home in the league cup
Still doesn't feel right that we will be playing a league game there. An FA Cup QF would be fun though
Similar amounts, though it was slightly less and I don't believe that the away fans sold out, IIRC. The tickets were quite cheap and the attendances were as follows: Monaco: 85,011, Leverkusen: 85,512, CSKA: 62,034, Gent: 80, 465.
It'll probably be really cheap, if we do. £10 for adults, £5 for kids and £20 for a family ticket or something.
So there's definitely evidence that you can fill your quota. Be interesting to see the state of the pitch once it's been used and abused through the winter, I'm assuming you don't have exclusive rights to Wembley.
No, we don't. I'll probably be quite a mess at some points. The new stadium's got a way of dealing with that, due to the removable pitch. It seems that Chelsea will have three seasons of it to deal with after us, but we might iron out a few kinks for them, unfortunately.
