It may have something to do with financial fair play and another way of getting millions into the club without a handout. Here's 185 million for training and development. Oops it only cost 20 that leaves 165 million for players. Think clubs will be trying to push this sort of thing all over the pace to try and see what they can get away with.

I think the key word is "small", it's a girlfriend/parents only job. But I'm fairly sure the Staplewood academy games aren't open to the public, they haven't been so far anyway.
True, but leagues have changed this year. The problem is if it goes from a few passers by + family and grows to a larger group....then you are into ticketing (even if free) and 'elf and safety. We are a long way off that, but could see a time when quite a few people would fancy going to watch.
