So Constable shakes of a dead leg to play vs us on Saturday.<whistle>

Oxford wanted to much for there iffy striker and we would not buy him at an over inflated price...:emoticon-0173-middl

The deal to bring him to the mem was not agreed and whilst MM might still be interested in him, he is no longer signing for Rovers.

Lets hope with our weakened defence and goalkeeping options he does not make us pay.

Was this the right decision from MM and the board?

I think so

He was poor today so I would consider other targets a priority ie midfield and defence cause although yeh yeh its early days we were toothless

Virgo was poor before he got the injury and still poor after slow and ponderous he always stands the wrong side of the attacker ......why

just looked at the list of out of contract strikers left. doesnt look good so it will have to be a signing involving cash and if constable was mcghees 1st and only choice since end of may, im not sure plan b, c and d is going to be that good. hopefully mcghee proves me wrong.

Glad we are not going for Constable. I know you shouldn't judge a player on one game but he was utter **** on saturday. I have seen him a couple of other times as well and he is not as great as some make out. Not worth the 200k we were willing to shell out for him! Lets look for defenders firstly, and do our best to get rid of Virgo whilst we are at it <ok>
