There’s a difference between “different views” and openly spreading dangerous misinformation.
You might see the statement “Covid is a manufactured disease created by the Jews to cull the population” as a “different view”, I see it as complete bullshit that I don’t want my children interacting with. And absolutely I will pull up people who share those things because it’s not right. There’s a massive difference between “difference of opinion” and letting people spread vile bullshit that’s targeting specific groups of people, knowingly or not.
A lot of the conspiracy theories surrounding these QAnonces is based around white supremacist/antisemitic tropes that have existed for a very long time.
Cutting off a family member for their opinion is not something I would do, but cutting off a member of my family that’s fallen into a cult and is promoting dangerous propaganda? Absofuckinglutley, quicker than a hot knife through butter.

You seem to know a lot of stuff. Its an opinion really as none of us know very much in truth. The worry isn't there, its when you censor people. If your children are half as brilliant as you are im sure they will make their own minds up

Yes but we know Covid wasn't some Jewish population control mechanism. I appreciate what you're saying vis a vie opinion, but this isn't really about that because according to them, it isn't opinion, it's a fact.
The long standing problem with these cults is that their beliefs have overtaken their reality, the lines are now so blurred that everything is all linked together. They could link Iwo Jima to Watergate, or Dodi Al-Fayed to Ghandi, looking objectively we know full well it's complete horseshit, so why not call it out and put it right? These things get out of hand because people get into echo chambers where they can't be pulled up and before you know it becomes a real problem and spills out into mainstream society. It needs nipping in the bud before it gets out of hand, because people are now willing to die for these reasons. I wish I could say it's just people on the Internet, but we saw in the USA on 6/1 what happens when these things become mainstream, it's dangerous.
Distrust of the media started on the fringes and has slowly made its way into public discourse. You ask 100 people in 1990 if they watch the news and I think they'd mostly say yes, ask the same amount in 2022 and I reckon you'd be lucky to get half. I could go into the nuances of why a lot of the "don't trust the MSM" stuff is nonsense, but it really is too hot and City just won.
My children need adults in their life who are based in reality, they of course can make up their own minds as they get older and they are free to make any decision they wish, provided it isn't harmful to other people.

By the way im not sure on where covid came from, but on thing i am sure about is we haven't had the full story on the vaccine and casualtys. There seems to be an awful lot of sportsmen and women falling on the field that arent getting reported
