I agree Ravel Morrison will be sent back, but i disagree that Slade is a one eyed dinosaur, He has undoubtedly steadied the ship, which he deserves credit for. Now think back to 3/4 years ago in the championship and we never did much good against the lesser opposition then either, Peterborough would always rock up and beat us, usually home and away, The 0 - 0 draw with Barnsley also sticks in my mind as a very inept performance. Which is what we got against Rotherham. I bet they were all scratching their heads on monday morning as to what went wrong. I am quite looking forward to the Bournemouth game, but i do think that Ravel should be given a starting slot against them.
Worth a shout particularly if Slade shocks us all and goes 4 - 5 - 1. However, he must be told to play facing towards the opposing team's goal and not across the pitch which is all I have seen him do to date. I missed the Wendies game when apparently he did much better. However, unless playing off a central striker I wouldn't risk him as a wide player in a 4 - 4 - 2 as we will need someone who can fulfill a defensive covering role v. Bournemouth. Alternatively, if Manga is fit why not use him in central midfield with Gunnar and put Whitts left hand side? That would give Gunnar more licence to get forward as well.
I hope they weren't Isaw! We were absolutely done tactically by a better (on the day) manager. I see on WOL Slade complaining that Ravel hasn't really done enough, lets put him in the team for a couple of games rather than 7 minutes and see what can do
Slade should have changed his team at half time with Fabio and R Morrison on and then Macheda a bit later. He left it far too late. In fact he should have started with Fabio and R Morrison. The Rotherham manager was more tactically astute than Slade.
