This is an old thread so most of the comments are from December 2011. Tickler, how do you keep finding these old threads anyway? I always find the search function on this site to be completely unusable, so how do people find old threads from page 500 odd?
I get how searches work, just that on this site it simply doesn't. I can type in exact quotes which I remember from an old thread, or even the title of the thread, and it won't find it.
I knew we had a Conor Townsend thread some where and the quick way is to google it. (just type conor townsend hull city not 606) Hey presto. No need to create a new thread for the rumour either.
Actually that could be a pearl of wisdom from you there Tickler. Googling it probably works better than using the internal search function. Just to demonstrate, here's a screenshot of what I get when searching using the string "How old are you guys". Febbos has previously made two threads with that name, yet somehow it fails to find them and gives me a load of Southampton stuff instead: please log in to view this image EDIT: And in fact you can just make out where it says "keyword(s): guys" as if it's only searching for the last word in the string, but I've entered that line a few times and it's the same every time.
