Signed for MK Dons

mmm not sure he’s up to it myself.

Would be underwhelmed to say the least if he had come back to us. Defoe on the other hand..

Would have signed him in a heartbeat, he’s still only 28 years old, should be in his prime.

Think he’d smash this league, and if Stewart gets injured, we are in bother.

Great signing for mk sons if he stays fit.

I bet he didn't see himself playing at this level at 28 when he signed for us for a big fee for a young lad.

I think he could have been a good player with the right attitude and a bit more luck with injuries but we were not in a position to sign a player for that fee who was one for the future.

He ran the full length of the pitch as a 16 year old and scored for Ipswich in the Championship.
Injuries ruined him unfortunately like many other young lads

There were rumours of a dodgy attitude as well. I think it was a combination of having it all too early, questionable attitude and injuries that ruined him.

He could have been a huge Premiership star, but didn't have the attitude or mental strength to push on and get over his injuries.

Another one that will look back when he is older and wonder what could have been, although I'm sure the millions in his bank will keep him happy

I can never understand how players like him and Rodwell don’t feel embarrassed standing next to players who give it their all, and why do they not take them to one side and batter the lazy twats.
