If I can say it this way, in order to clarify, a kid of 9 can start boxing and never get anywhere whereas a 21 year old can get into ufc and be in the octagon winning stuff in 2 years.

That explained, hopefully, a 40 year old "active" boxer like Floyd wouldn't need too much to learn to get into ufc. Whereas Connor will look like an amateur cine the fight

 

Not into boxing or UFC, I'm aware of this fight through media hype and would like the mouthy bloke to win as it would be funny.

Has that happened? How do you even identify as a boxer at that age then make the transition, surely only folk with mixed disciplines would change sports entirely at that age, imagine growing up training boxing your whole life then giving up at 21.

There's been a few crossovers, usually big bulky blokes who can take a battering.
