Yeah it's about one hundred for the fight so them figures will be correct.

I'd struggle to part with £15 for this circus.

It's not as cut and dry as that, any top MMA fighter with a good ground game would be expected to win a fight against a person who has absolutely no ground game.

I'd be more than confident that if Khabib Nurmegomedov got into the Octagon with Floyd Mayweather it'd be less than 3 minutes before FMJ was on his way to A&E.

FMJ couldn't hit him hard enough to put him down, this kid takes knees and elbows for fun, FMJ is a master of defending himself against punches, but as soon as he has to compete with kicks, knees and take downs and then the floor game, he'd be ****ing dusted inside 3 minutes and he's possibly the GOAT.

 

A boxer got no chance..he would plod away with his jab jab attempted uppercut, pat on the rib cage rinse repeat, in the meantime he would be getting his legs shredded to bits and elbows flying in from behind him thanks to a sick leap off the cage...got no chance

 

The boxer has to show aggressive intent as well, many boxers play the defence game and in those cases the ref would just stop the fight.

 

I've no idea who's going to win, both of them are smart and bloody good at what they do, but the longer this circus goes on the more I want Mayweather to kick McGregor's ass and then some!!

 

Really?! I see it completely the other way. Mayweather is such a ****. Respect him massively as a boxer but can't get on board with someone who acts like a rapper, flashing his cash and talking about money constantly.

Yes we know you're rich. It's the fight game. I literally couldn't give 2 ****s about his Bugatti or how much his watch cost. I just want to see 2 top class athletes go at it.

One things for sure, Macgregor has a far better chance of winning this boxing contest then if they fought with MMA rules. Macgregor would take him apart in about a minute! And that's because Mayweather would be able to run away from him for about 50 of those seconds!

Not an MMA fan at all, love boxing. But would love to see CM bang him out.

But what happens in the ring is what counts...I'm not casting doubts on boxing as a sport, I think it's fantastic.

 

Can I get odds on this happening?

1) McGregor spits/slaps/punches Mayweather at the weigh in.
2) This intensifies the "massive rivalry".
3) Mayweather dodges his way through the fight. It lasts 12 rounds.
4) Mayweather wins via points.
5) They hug and kiss in the middle of the ring.
6) They struggle to walk out of the arena due to the weight of their wallets.
7) People on twitter lap it all up and some half-wit will call it the greatest fight of all time.
8) Rematch - it'll happen all over again and morons will lap it up.

 

You're pissing in the wind mate, there's a good reason FMJ vs Mac is happening in the boxing ring and not the octagon.
