He's boring as ****. Always had been.

I get he's technically brilliant. Just boring for me to watch.

    Prefer a tear up personally.

He could have killed or badly injured him doing that though.

Would anybody be happy with that conclusion? Just watched that clip, Mayweather far better and bigger, looked a no contest that he could have finished whenever he wanted.

I'd say pointless but the point was the buckets of money they generated and made.

That doesn't make him exciting. Just means he's calculated.

How many proper KO's? Like knock the **** out.

He's having a fight ffs. If McGregor got seriously hurt he shouldn't step in the ring.

He knew the risks, so it's fair game imo.

It's hardly embarrassing, it's the rules. The ref stopped it, leave that fight to carry on with no bell and CM is incapable of defending himself and he could end up asleep for a long time.

A good boxer will always find their range, his strategy was to let CM punch out, then when he had no power left in his fists take him down, it was executed to perfection.

McGregor might be a proper prick but does anyone want him dead?

A lot of excuses for 20 year champion here <laugh>

If Mayweather stepped in the octagon do you think McGregor would be nice to him and pick the round to end it? Like ****, he'd smash him right up straight from the bell.

Dead? You seen the battles he's had in the octagon? He's a warrior, his fights are usually a bloodbath.

Like I said it's a risk you take in combat sports.

Bring Diaz down to 154 and Connor beats him.

He was better than Pacman was against Floyd. Beat FMJ to the jab and counterpunches early on.

For £50m I'd fight AJ with my hands tied behind my back. Everyone in McGregors shoes would have fight FMJ. He's financial set for life now.

But Floyd has made a career on making world class, all time greats look way out of their depth though.

In that last couple of rounds Mayweather could easily have landed a punch he wouldn't have got up from. Easily.

It doesn't matter if he's scared or not, he was a sitting duck.

    Why didn't he then?

Would a striker miss a penalty on purpose?

Because he didn't want to kill or severely damage him maybe?
