Surely you can't mean "Here come's Larsson linig up this free kick. Sunderland's dead ball specialist"? No?? You can't mean him Sunderpitt.... Can you???
What's he on, does anyone know ? I saw he was on 1.8m a year ? Not sure how accurate this is though http://www.tsmplug.com/football/sunderland-players-salaries/ Cattermole is on 2m, AJ on 2.6, Jozy on 2.2m, Bardo on 650k and Brown/O'shea 1.3m - So Larsson's salary isnt that much imo, imo, larsson has always been a "quiet player", the type that gets on with it and does a job but doesnt stand out. Last few games he has been better than normal, but I dont think he has been bad before, not quite as stand out. When Larsson has played for us we have lost 33% of games (57% of games lost overall by us) and all games where he hasn't played we have lost (gardner: we drew or won only 8 out of 15 games when he played , and lost 7 - 46% lost). I have only counted games that Poyet has been manager - edit, opps I also didnt count the Swansea loss for Poyet's 1st game. For 30k a week, I reckon larsson is worth while having in the squad. and I'd also keep Bardo for 650k a year (12.5k a week) if that is true
What's Larsson got to do with the blossoming footballing relationship of Wickham and giacc' Only joking, some great points being made.
Can defo see an understanding developing, Giacc seems to be adapting to the league, still a way to go before he can play 90 minutes week in week out imo, Gus is handling his adaptation well I think, but he's tiny and struggled with the pace of the league, but he's improving rapidly so well done to the coaching staff. See what allowing players the time they need to adapt can do instead of losing patients quickly. This time next year I think Giacc will be a cracking premiership player, same for Vergini.
One of the major **** up, (imo) of Poyett this season. As for Wickham, who the **** knows, manager after manager have ****ed him off, inc. Poyet....Maybe they are no better than anyone else, just got the lucky break..
not saying this is right, but what I reckon Poyet is thinking: Giacc needed (needs) time before able to get 90 mins run out, he is adapting to the premier league Wickham needed his time on loan, and now has come back a better player for it
Maybe mate, maybe you are correct. But in a simplistic world, a fully blown Italian Int player, is no doubt a player will skill and talent, i don;t know any orher occupation, and football being a simple one, where they can afford so much time to fit in. I'm putting it down to simple bad managment decisions.
