Ditto, a one nighter for me, football related I'm ashamed to say. I was young and foolish then, now I'm just foolish. I wouldn't care but I survived the likes of the old Den to watch Millwall away and returned home unscathed - xxxxed up yes - you had to be to stand on New Cross station showing your colours (quickly removed on the grounds of health and safety). For those old enough to remember it was such a lovely place the Den. The occasional smoke bomb and dummy granade thrown onto the nets created a special atmosphere. If you told me I could return there today to watch a football match in similar circumstances I'd tell you I'd rather sell timeshare in Baghdad.
