Well I'm easy, I won't be throwing any tantrums if the thread is closed. As I stated earlier in the thread, as far as I'm concerned Joe will always be a Jack and just thought it was worth mentioning. If I was wrong, cest la vie. I won't be losing any sleep over it
So far I'm not closing it SA9. I've asked Dai a question and he deserves a chance to be able to answer. Dai has as much right to voice his opinions as everyone else and by closing this thread it would deny him that opportunity.
Been waiting for an answer so far for 1 1/2 hours Phil. Dai's annoyed because I shut a thread of his which was about Liverpool and had counted requests to close it as it had sod all to do with the Swans. A lot of posters think they are his second team and he owns a Liverpool shirt too , only Dai knows that if course Dai, Still waiting for an answer, stuck in limbo here.
Joe`s had a baby that must have been painful, you`d have thought the woman would have had it. Sarcy, yes i know and only joking. Dai does have a point, it was only a day or so ago we were all saying "it`s football time", so let`s just talk football, and only football. Then we have "baby talk", must be for all the babies on here . Joe is a different case to Bender, the latter did the dirty on us (sorry Dai, he did) and should be shown no respect at all. Joe on the other hand was seduced! by playing for a club with a higher profile (I`m not using the term big club) & also a massive rise in pay. Joe deserves his chance to play at the highest level, and he may well still achieve that! I have no qualms about him leaving to follow the dodger. Should there be a thread about him becoming a father, I don`t know but on balance I would say no. It`s not that it`s a very rare thing to do or something unique. Just my opinion, but hey what do I know.

I chose to ignore Dai's ridiculous Liverpool / Rodgers ****fest for obvious reasons and I chose to ignore this one up to now because it's about a Liverpool player having a baby. Face facts. Allen was a Jack but chose to leave so he is no longer. I don't hold anything against him for doing so but I'm not going to follow his every move either. Those who follow my posts know I don't get bitter about anyone leaving but I make no apologies for my own interests being in my team and its players. I understand why SA9 would put this up because he's close to the family, and I respect those who have an interest. I don't, and that's why I ignored. It's not hard. I can understand the points about a lack of consistency to be honest, though the nature of the threads was rather different. No offence.
Dai, you didn't answer my question. Do you want this thread shut down, even though no one else does ? You've obviously got an issue with me and you've made your own conclusions. Frankly you can think what you like that's your entitlement. I'll treat you the same as everyone else. As for your thread I had a lot of requests asking for it to be shut and was left with little option. That doesn't count the requests that were out in the open for all to see too. I would have done it regardless who had posted the thread. If you want to take it personally then that's up to you. One thing I will tell you is that if I have a problem with anyone then I do not pull any punches and I will make it clear. If you don't believe me just ask Casual fan. So it's up to you now Dai. You can either fester and think you've been singled out or you can take me at my word, draw a line under the matter and move on. It's up to you
Dai, its not about WHAT was posted its about WHO posted it. YOU have wound up enough posters on here so they got pissed off at yet another 'i told u so' post and asked for it to be deleted, same happened with a casual fan a while back if you remember. like i said earlier lose the attitude and people wont have a problem with any of your posts. I never saw the post but i guess it was along the lines of see I told you I was right and you are all wrong

I'm sure he wouldn't Aussie. I just looked back on it and you called it trash and even said shame on you Dai. That was basically the appraisal of other posters too. Very hard to defend, and if Phil had seen it he wouldn't and couldn't defend it.
Dai was right. The thread shouldn't have been shut down just because it was about another team. We have plenty of threads about other teams etc and long may it continue as this is a football forum. How about shaking hands and moving on?

Well my views on Rodgers, and the Scousers plunder of our players is well documented, they are not a team I can warm to, but I would not wish any ill will to Joe Allen, he's been a great lad that has come through our ranks, and given everything for our club, and his career has now progressed to Liverpool, whether we like it or not, we have to move on, thought he was Liverpool's best player on the pitch against city, him and Sterling! Anyway we've done well from the deal, upgraded our manager, and got some really great signing for this season's campaign!..................
Go on then dil do that and let everyone know what i said instead of getting posters like std making wrong assumptions yet again......I would be very interested on what others feel i did wrong and they can see its nothing that other posters post on here nearly every day....so yes i do want you to put it back up and definitely no i dont want you to delete anyone's post....
