But do we need a thread that basically says that the sun shines out of Brendan's arse ? If people want to discuss here why are people asking for it be closed ? The forum is about the users and most of users didn't want it on here. There is a Liverpool forum for sucking up if that is what's wanted. That's the problem when people have a second 'premier' club they support.
But the forum is for everyone and free speech should be allowed. Personally I'd rather not discuss Rodgers on here too much because he's left. But I can just ignore it if I'm not interested. I don't see why people want threads they don't like deleted. Just ignore them. At times it's difficult to know what you're allowed to post and what you're not because many fans are over-emotional, and their emotions change by the minute. We weren't allowed to discuss Rodgers or Allen moving before it wasn't 'official', but we're allowed to discuss Sinclair and Tate moving, when it's not 'official'. If fans like a player, were aren't allowed to mention him leaving, but if fans don't like a player, we're allowed to say anything against him. Perhaps we need a sticky of each player and then we can have everything neatly in one thread per player. And if the press reports a player may be leaving we can lock the thread to stop people speculating. Or perhaps the mods should check every comment before setting it to 'live'. But it would be easier to ignore the posts you don't like.
so its ok to write about joe allen on here but not brendan rogers he's the past, you've got new players so shouldnt you be discussing the families of those players? just an outsiders view but if the answer is no, then why is this any different?
But do we need a thread on here about Joe having a baby ....should that be on the Liverpool board valley.. I want this thread closed then..........I bet it dont though.....what is good for one is good for the other...so lets close it as it has nothing to do with us anymore....joe plays for liverpool now.....
Dai the difference is loads of people asked for your thread to be deleted so it was (the same would happen to any other thread that people complained about). Now i guess this was because people are fed up of the tripe you are famous for posting. You talk alot of sense on here at times but your attitude stinks. Drop the whole 'i know HJ, therfore you mere mortals dont know squat' act, accept others have a different point of view to you and the forum will be a much happier place.

I should not need support...what is good for one poster should be good enough for another....just by you laughing dill shows you are power crazy and its know wonder fans have left because of dictatorship and lack of debate if you dont like something....who do you think you are ..., who are you to dictate to anyone what we can and cannot debate and make comments about on a forum....and dont say im a mod because my thread was about football, it was about past player and manager that we have had on here thousands of times. If i was swearing and giving abuse then i would agree and i would have no comeback. but i did not ...so do your job properly or let someone else who can do it.....Do not delete any posts in future on football and let the fans on here decide whether they want to respond or not....Its not your job to decide for us even if some PM you wanting it deleted. Yes Superswan it's our forum, and most people wanted the thread closed, so the moderators obliged and did what people on here wanted, and that was to close the thread.
So let me get this right Dai just so there's no doubt. If I'm reading it right you want this thread closed because you and only you object to it. So far anyway. Am I right ?
You've done nothing wrong SA9. I'm just waiting for Dai's answer for clarification on his request as I do not want to misunderstand him. I'll be keeping an eye out on and off most of tonight. As you can see he wants this closed but it appears that no one else does.
